We’re all about keeping up with our Core Values at Butler, but last month’s Finding and Bridging Gaps found some of the staff having to take a “leap of faith” to complete.
Last month, the Butler team loaded up and drove down to Margarita Adventures to zipline! Margarita Adventures offered us a thrilling experience of flying over the beautiful terrain of Santa Margarita and Pinot Noir vines, with six distinct ziplines that span more than 7,500 total feet! We also learned a bit of the history of the Santa Margarita Ranch, and our fearless leader Sean got to wear his first fanny pack!
Now, we’d be lying if we said all of us were “thrilled” at the opportunity, but that’s what Finding and Bridging Gaps is all about. It’s about facing the unknown head-on, finding that part of yourself that says “you can do it,” and crossing that bridge…even if that bridge is a metal cable and down below are sharp-looking poles holding the grapevines up as you cross over them.
BTW, that was only one the last one and it really wasn’t that bad. Now the very long and narrow suspension bridge that you had to cross, well, you can just forget about that!
It was an exhilarating and fun experience for us at Butler, and we’re excited to share it with you! And if you’re looking for a fun way to Find and Bridge Gaps in your organization, we suggest going on a zipline tour.
Just don’t forget your fanny pack!
