Aside from being a Graphic Designer, we wanted to know who Chris really was; which is why we asked these super deep questions…
What’s your favorite design style?
Swiss/International Style. The Switss style of design originated in Switzerland in the 1940s and was the basis of much of the development of graphic design during the mid to late 20th century. Led by designers at the Zurich School of Arts and Krafts and the Basel School of Design, the style favoured simplicity, legibility and objectivity.
What’s a brand you really love right now?
“Starbucks. Although I don’t drink coffee or even go into their stores very often, I believe Starbucks is one of the best and most well-known coffee shops because of its brand consistency, minimal design approach, and excellent customer service.”
Who inspires you?
“Lance Wyman, for his use of typography and simple but effective logo design work.”
What book would you recommend?
“The Art of Looking Sideways, by Alan Fletcher. At more than 1,000 pages, it’s not exactly one for the bus, but it’s beyond compare as an inspiring design catalogue to open at any page.”
