This February the Butler Branding team got together for a team-building exercise centered around one of our core values: Finding and Bridging Gaps. We visited Defy trampoline park, a pretty literal representation of those gaps! It was a fun day of climbing and jumping around we capped off with a farewell lunch for Butler team member, Matt Ledger. (We miss you, Matt!)
One of the things that makes Butler unique and draws our clients is our creativity. We’re able to take complex problems and solve them with our own blend of creativity and strategy. During our team building exercise, we had a great time playing around on the trampolines and other fun stuff, but we also got down to what our second core value really means.
We resolve to always look for ways to make things work, or work better. Just like we were working to stay upright at Defy, we work to keep our clients’ projects running smoothly. As creative people, we have the ability to think outside the box, finding solutions to complex problems – this is why people love us. We will figure it out!
Matt’s farewell lunch was a bittersweet moment for our team. We were excited to give him a personal gift (watch the vlog to check it out!) and reminisce about the impact he made on our agency. He’ll be dearly missed, but his contributions will be with us for years to come. If you’d like to learn more about how Matt shaped us, check out his farewell post, The Top 5 Things I learned at Butler Branding.
